Yeah...2 hours...

We were in the longest line I've ever seen or put myself in!  Bob and I only did it for the kids.  They were very patient and we let them go sit on a bench or in the grass as long as they were close enough and within sight for the first part of the wait...  It was so sunny and of course this morning I forgot to make us all put on sunscreen.  The line was wrapped around the back past the trash dumpsters and all the parked monster tour busses just about into the residential neighborhood.  We started standing in line at about 11am and by 1pm we got to the part where the line is supposed to start, zigzagging through movable metal fencelike barriers!  At that point we started having a couple people trying to sneak into line!!!  We linemates knew each other pretty well from just standing together in line and keeping track of who was in front of you and behind and who was speaking English and who was Spanish or the Australian group of kids with chaperones....  Unbelievable, these people thought they could just meld in and go unnoticed.  No way, we had put in over 2 long hours to get to that point!  The Indian tour guide from London who was behind us had to get security to oust a young couple who got between them and us and insisted they had been there the whole time.  A Chinese woman and little boy tried to get in front of us!  Even though none of us spoke the same language, the Spanish woman in front of us and I told her with a lot of pointing to get to the back of the line!
