I wish I had a better picture but this is a detail of the Gustav Klimt painting which we saw at the Belvedere yesterday and is reproduced everywhere!!!....  This is why I couldn't really get excited about Klimt because I thought it looked ...a little creepy and, I don't know... random?  This is a photo I took of the back of a tourist brochure just now....  
But today I saw those incredible wall murals, and a whole exhibition about how he created them, and some of his earlier work and prepatory sketches...  And there was the most exquisite miniature portrait of a girl I have ever seen!  This guy had chops.  And he had skills so amazing that he could change and innovate like Picasso...

I liked his graphic style, ...his drawings and the Art Nouveau coming in....  


Going to go read the brochure about his life now.....  Goodnight!
