We took a short version tour where we could walk through about 23 rooms of the palace with an audioguide set held to our ears. We got a feel for how Franz Joseph lived here and how his wife, Elizabeth (Sissy), was hardly ever here. But she was more of a free spirit and is now quite big a cult figure around here.
