Next year it will be an hour earlier!!
Oh... give me a break.

Buddy's new buddy.

E- bird for "Seussical" made by my neighbor Sharon. She's amazing. I'm so grateful.

Flute Recital

Charlotte's flute teacher held a recital which was called "Playing Together" and every student played with at least one other.. Charlotte was in a group of 6 flute players ... They sounded great, even though they never even had a chance to practice together. Here is the group photo of all the students, piano and flute, in this recital. Their teacher, Julie Martyn, on the far right.

From her 1st grade teacher...

Charlottes first grade teacher gave her this Back in the early 2000's... and now that we are getting ready for her to start High School, I was feeling all amazed at how often we use this bowl every day and how I always remember that it was from her 1st grade teacher and how recent 2002 still seems to me. Time certainly does fly. Wow.

You really have to click on this...

I took this photo just as I was leaving the house to go to school and work with the students on stage crew... It was about 2 pm and just look at the beautiful moment between messy storms. It's part of what makes living here so worth it.

The other part is the really good friends we have.

Snow coated with ice.

Drama Club Crew

We have to work in the hallways behind the stage after school.  It's a lot of work just setting up and then cleaning up at the end.  We are getting a lot done though.  It 's a really good group of kids.

I still have to design something for the tall platform which is supposed to be a tree.  (He's an elephant sitting on a nest in a tree.  Horton, the elephant.)

Icicles

There have been such incredible icicles hanging off everyones house etc. this season.
This is not the best picture... I need to show the icicles better on this blog... But just believe me... They are more extreme this year for sure.
