At the Portrait Gallery in DC
This is a smaller version of the sculpture I took a picture of Bob whispering to at the Met last year.
I forgot to take pictures and blog about our trip to DC. Went by so quick. Lots of driving.

Long shadows
The light was so amazing when we went for a walk later in the day today. I thought it was warm out but Mom was cold. It was probably in the 50's.

Dave helps Cara with computer.
Dave's all happy to get his hands on my laptop and I'm looking all worried....
Just kidding. I learned a lot from what he showed me... I always do. Feel very grateful for his expertise....

Three runners we dropped off at the starting line...
It was about 5:30 am when Dave and I dropped off Mom, her trainer, Ciro, and another of his clients. I barely had time to take this picture because of all the traffic... And it was so dark.

Arriving... Las Vegas
Las Vegas Airport parking garage. Taking a picture while I wait to be picked up. I'll be back here in a week and a day to return home...
Late Night Thinking
I'm getting on a plane and going to Las Vegas, Nevada tomorrow. I had such a hectic day today trying to get ready. So many last minute things to wrap up. I don't want to even list it all, it's so silly... but suffice it to say; I was running sometimes when I had to go from our office to the front room.... RUNNING. Like Edith in "All In The Family".
Thankfully we had Charlotte's school Winter Concert to go to at 6:30 and that made us sit down and "chill" for a couple of hours.... The music was beautiful. I found myself choking-up during one song that the Chorus sang which was so poignant. Lyrics something about how they know we used to see them as young babies but now they are growing up and have their own thoughts and feelings and that their one Christmas wish is for Peace in the world and stuff like that and ... well... of course it's a tear jerker. Clichés, notwithstanding.

Accidental Photo
This accidental snap turned out kinda nice actually. Bob and I were taking a picture of his new painting to send to his gallery in California. The light is the best in our bedroom upstairs. I was taking the camera off the tripod and must have accidentally hit the button. Those are my closet doors and some of my clothes piled on a chair...
