Back in the good ol' days (1986), my son Erik and I flew back on KLM from Amsterdam...during the flight, I asked the flight attendant if we could see the cockpit...she said "Sure", led us to meet the pilot and navigator, and we got to sit in there for about 15 minutes looking at Iceland down below, through the windshield.
