We saw on the map that we were going to have to take the "U4" subway to get to Karlsplatz. It was starting to rain a little. We were proud that we were figuring out where to go pretty well, but we still are not sure how people pay for riding the trams or busses or the underground, because no one has ever checked our tickets! We bought a 3 day pass for each of us, but from what we have seen, it seems like it is all on the honor system. Bob has suggested it is a sign of "socialism".... which, if it is, looks so sophisticated and civilized in comparison to the "wild west"...
