On the way back to hotel

I'm not going to go into the details about how after we ate some pizza and very good French fries at a snack bar on the 2nd level on the tower, the girls and I lost Bob for an hour and half while we were still on the Eiffel tower...
... because we want to emphasize how much fun we had today and not dwell on the non- perfect parts... It was a day that required much patience and we did it!  

It was 5:30pm when we were finally reunited and ready to leave Eiffel's magnificent tower.  Our muscles were so sore from yesterday plus we were so tired from the sun and standing all day today, we decided we couldn't handle trying to go see the Arc de Triomphe or the Champs-elysees today... We saw them from above, anyway.  Got back on metro and back to "our" neighborhood.

Here is a picture I took of an eyewear shop along the way... Note the nice composition with reflections of buildings on outside of glass window, yet you can see inside... Wait!  What's that right in the center of the picture? A Polage in a wooden frame for Maui Jim sunglasses designed by my mom, Austine, and produced by her studio which I work with... Always fun to see them in situ and know where they came from.
