Eiffel hat

We didn't go to the Orsay after all because the line was probably 14 kilometers long!  We couldn't see why we should stand in the miserable line so long when it was extra beautiful outside and Bob and I were JUST here only 20 or so years ago and we saw it already, and the girls didn't seem to mind missing the art museum...  So we leisurely spent the majority of today strolling east on either side of the Seine, checking out the bridges taking pictures and seeing the Eiffel Tower grow bigger on the horizon.  At one point the police stopped traffic and a HUGE group of rollerskaters went by...  Looked like a fundraiser thing, there was every age and type of person, not a race but certainly a large group.  Fun people watching day.  
As you can see here, we finally made it around 5pm to the Eiffel Tower.
